Free tech training and mentoring to empower jobseekers
Future in Tech is an online training and mentorship programme that helps people who are currently out of work, and wishing to start a career in tech and ICT, to develop new skills and access job opportunities across in-demand tech areas, such as data analytics, software development, cybersecurity, web development and cloud computing. To date, we have supported over 1,500 people to transform their career trajectories, while also bridging the digital skills gap.

The Future in Tech training initiative is delivered by Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet, with support from Skillnet Ireland, the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science and a host of technology companies.
This initiative is part of the Skillnet Ireland Skills Connect programme, which facilitates the rapid reskilling of workers seeking re-entry into the workforce. Skills Connect is designed in partnership with enterprise to enhance cross-sector employability and support people who have lost their jobs. It offers a suite of bespoke upskilling and training solutions, designed by enterprise, aimed at supporting re-entry into the workforce.
